For a safe, cost effective, hassle-free move, have Mike's Moving, Inc. do your packing. Mike's Moving, Inc. offers complete packing services, and has the training, experience and equipment to handle all of your valuables correctly.
From fragile pieces, like grandfather clocks or chandeliers, to regular items such as dishes, and bulky items such as pianos, our crew will do the job properly to keep your items clean and damage free.
Our packing crew will ensure that your belongings will be carefully and safely packed. We use both traditional packing supplies such as bubble wrap and paper, and more specialized tools such as custom-made crates. Crates protect more delicate items, such as antiques, paintings, collectibles, and glass or marble table tops.
All boxes will be properly marked to ensure a quick and efficient unpacking, whether you do it yourself or have our crew unpack for you.

Packing Tips
- Keep the following supplies handy for packing: boxes, newspaper and tissue, plastic bags, packing and 'fragile' tape, markers, bubble wrap, sticky labels, and scissors.
- Move all the similar small items together for easy packing.
- Pack heavy items in smaller boxes and light items in larger boxes
- Use strong boxes and containers that can be secured tightly. Purchase special boxes for dishes, wardrobe and other special items.
- Cushion the bottom and sides of boxes first, this helps prevent shifting, rubbing, and possible breakage.
- Wrap small and/or fragile items individually.
- If possible, pack audio-video equipment in their original boxes. If not, pack each item in ample amounts of bubble wrap and/or white paper.
- Label cables, and if removing screws, tape them to the objects they are removed from.
- Avoid loading more than 50 pounds into one box.
- Label each box and indicate the following:
- (a) Which room it should go in,
- (b) Whether it is fragile,
- (c) If it should be loaded last so it will be unloaded first.
- Have rugs and draperies cleaned before moving and leave them in wrappings for the move.
- Pack medicines in a leak proof container.
- Carry important documents, money, and jewelry yourself, or use registered mail. Carry travelers checks for quick, available funds.
- Packing your computer:
- The original box your computer and peripheral devices came in is the best choice for packing for your move. If you don't have the original boxes, cushion the bottom and sides of boxes before packing, this helps prevent shifting, rubbing, and possible breakage.
